Proof of Origin for Canadian Critical Minerals
Verifiable digital credentials for the critical minerals supply chain, built on open standards.
Get in touchThe provenance problem
Canadian minerals can’t prove where they come from
Mining companies across Canada lack a consistent way to demonstrate the origin of Canadian-sourced minerals to downstream buyers, refineries, border agencies, and international partners. With the EU Battery Regulation requiring digital product passports by February 2027, the gap is becoming a market access risk.
How it works
Open standards, verifiable by anyone
W3C Verifiable Credentials
Tamper-evident, cryptographically signed, and held by the mining company in a digital wallet.
Interoperable by design
Aligned with the Pan-Canadian Trust Framework, UNECE Recommendation 49, and EU Digital Product Passport standards.
QR-based verification
Buyers, border agencies, and partners verify provenance in real time via QR code or API.
